Annual Named Scholarship

An annual named scholarship can be created with a gift of $1,000 or more. Specific criteria can be established to fit the honored individual and must be consistent with the mission of Middletown Christian Schools’ Foundation.

Endowed Named Scholarships

Creating an endowed scholarship leads to financial aid opportunities that may last for a lifetime. Annual awards from endowed scholarship funds are made to a student or students. Money is available every year because the principal is never touched. Instead, students receive financial aid from interest earned on the principal. The size of the award depends on the size of the endowment and returns on the investment in a given year.A named endowed scholarship can be established at Middletown Christian Schools’ Foundation with a gift of $5,000 or more. Specific criteria can be established but also must be consistent with the mission of the Middletown Christian Schools’ Foundation. The MCS Foundation Board and Director administer all scholarships. Additional gifts can be made to the fund to grow the principal of the fund, thus adding to the scholarship amount for a student. The MCS Foundation is grateful to those families who have provided MCS students with scholarship opportunities. Many families honor their loved ones by designating donations in lieu of flowers. The memorial gifts that come to the Foundation can be recognized with a brick or a name plate.
